BioLab

The Biomedical Engineering Lab was founded in 1997 and is dedicated to research in the fields of neuroengineering, brain-computer interfaces, neuromotor rehabilitation, biomedical instrumentation, medical image processing and biomechanics. Besides the Principal Investigators, undergraduate, masters, PhD students and post-docs actively participate in the research developed in the lab.

Throughtout its history, Biolab has developed innovative methods and devices. Many projects have been developed in partnership with other institutions and private sector companies from different regions of Brazil and the world, granting a rich environment for experience exchange.

Our mission is to contribute to scientific and technological advances, looking for innovative solutions to improve overall quality of life and well-being.
