Medical Imaging

We develop methods and computational approaches for processing and analysis of medical images. Our goals are to support the development of computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems by enhancing automatic lesion detection through pattern recognition methods and improve the visualization of mammographic and tomographic images.

Furthermore, for quality control of medical imaging, we perform digital image quality asessment and evaluate medical imaging devices.
